Kina Grannis
Congratulations to Kina on her 1yr Anniversary of uploading to YouTube. She has enchanted a huge volume of people. Cannot wait for the InterScope release. I have her autograph and her kg sticker (sticker fight!) wearing her T usually means laundry was done the day before because it is the first tshirt I grab.

Speaking of T’s, my favorite comedic blogger is releasing this years T shirt designed by a childhood friend and fellow wvsr cronie. It is clearly a complete revamp of the smoking fish of the past 4 yrs but it has a literal splash of FF9000 and quite frankly that makes me grin super huge.
I also have 4 of his autographs, but more impressively & remotely I’ve had complete access to his hard drive (with his permission of course) in order to keep the his beloved site up and running when he had a Front Page issue he could not solve that prevented him from posting. That was a g33k-snapshot-and-hover time for me because we talked on the phone while I was diagnosing the issue. Epic. And I am STILL proud that he counted the fucks in Deadwood because it got him a solid link on drudgereport.com for 24 hrs.
What “blogger” (loose term) can claim that?

AVG 8 officially BYTES
This should have had my phone ringing off the hook with client complaints, but I made not a single dollar and my phone was crickets. Hype?
I have since removed free AVG8 from my Windows machine and replaced it with the newest in sleek antivirus Avira just to experience the other side. Nightmare. For some reason after the initial update of definitions, I could not get it to update after a click prompt the next day I logged into the computer.
The error received was the updater was not started, which prompted a Google search. I had to go into Windows Services and set the Avira Updater to automatic which gives Avira two rude thumbs-down and a solid snap in the ass because my clients cannot be expected to configure such things so it is still in probation mode to make sure that updater stays in Auto and does not default into disabled after a few restarts of the PC.

Raise your fist in the air!
Click the picture above to get your FREE Obama Victory sticker by groundbreaking artist Shepard Fairey as pictured above. At the time of posting 3,153,492 have requested this work of art/collector’s piece to celebrate such a momentous day.
(Special TY to Tony Mobley. That link rocked!)

Resetting your default email client in Firefox3
Four simple steps to perfecting the one-click email.
I am not sure HOW it happened it just did, or undid, as it were. When I find a webpage I want to send OR I click on an email address that I want to vent to, GMAIL is supposed to load and NOT that god-forsaken Outlook Express that is the devil’s-spawn default solution to SMPT.Who in the wide world HELL uses their ISP email anymore? But I digress…
So once again I go a-searching for solutions and have enough sense to share my findings. While in the FireFox browser
1. Go to Tools -> Options.
2. Click on Applications tab icon.
3. Locate and click to highlight mailto Content Type, and at the corresponding drop down box of Action, select Use Yahoo/Gmail
4. Click OK.

Dot Liz MeMe’d me for 5 Things About Me:
1. I am currently reading Young-Adult Fiction by Margaret Peterson Haddix FOUND/The Missing: Book 1 and it has enlightened me in the possibility of time travel. She is a wonderful author for pre-teens who read above their grade-level but are not ready for subjects sprinkled throughout adult fiction books.
2. I can have an enchanting conversation with anyone at any age. Case in point: My ex-boss has started working for the same company that I work for. He is near 70 and I have always liked him. We ended up leaving at the same time today and talked politics for almost an hour in the parking lot. I challenged him and he challenged me and we questioned each other. I am also skilled in baby talk and my teens are not embarrassed to be seen talking and laughing with me in public.
3. In the car I am a talk radio junkie. Do not ask me about the local cool FM music stations because I will defer you to my daughter for answers. However, If you want to know the cool AM stations, I am your gal. I actually LIKE Michael Savage and can appreciate Sean Hannity.
4. I am not challenged enough as an on-site computer technician. I am waiting for one of my clients wanting to network something even if it is wireless. I know the challenges will eventually come and I have the patience, I am just itching a bit.
5. I am currently in transition mode as I am growing out my bangs. This is the hardest thing a woman can do. Child birth considered.

I had to laugh a bit when reading about setting your mail to
gmail and your rant against Outlook. I had the opposite problem. My domain mail goes to Outlook, not ISP mail. I have to open Gmail and only use it when I don’t want anyone to read the message headers to discover where I am. I like using Outlook because it pops up when I have new mail. I used PopTray to preview it and have for years. I tried Gmail notifier and it never worked. Also I don’t have a cookie on my domain mail that keeps a record of everything ever written.
Paranoid? Me? Hmmm, could be true..*smile*
