I am a huge fan of iGoogle now that I have embraced RSS

(Hell it only took 2 years, but I digress)

My old homepage has since been replaced with iGoogle for all of it’s ease of following rss feeds that I never understood until lately maybe because for me they have become more necessary as I find more sites that I love and want to keep track of.

Sadly, I have to admit that Perez is stealing me from my beloved Trent Venagas because he has these lovely custom players on his site and then there is Perez Cast that offers oh-snap-like-you-didn’t-want-to-see-it video in yet another quick Player.

My only gripe?

The fun I have on the The Drill Down I owe to dotlizard for letting me know that MrBabyMan of digg fame has his own damn show once a week. I feel blessed to be in his presence. And to actually talk to him, I occasionally lose my shit.

From The Drill Down I have “met” Zaibatsu aka Reg Saddler, closet smoker who likes ice in his wine.

But I have to admit the truth. I told him this.

It was so damn refreshing for me to see a black man as top digger, dual monitors and no fucking idea how to leave a skype message. Does that make me a racist? (I have comments now, in case you never noticed) DotLiz sent me here to check it out and I saw this Zaibatsu and I almost applauded and threw fists in the air. Not only did I have MrBabyMan to look forward to every week, I now had Reg aka BANNED aka ERROR to look forward to.

All of that just to paint the picture:

Scandalous sticks via the corner store

A few weeks ago I walked into my local India-owned corner store and smelled Zen. It was almost the same imported Bangalorian Zen that I had been purchasing online called Satya Sai Ram but it had a sweeter bite to it.

I spent a few weeks begging just to see the box or the stick , to no avail, even though it was currently burning. Even though I am there every day, I was told to come back on Monday a few Monday’s ago.

It seems today’s Friday was my Monday because I walked in, smelled Zen, ordered the usual and watched her walk away with my hopes on my sleeve. She handed me the above box without my asking. I grinned. “This is it?” I said. “Yes. Tree-nindy-nine” So $3.99 it was and after the hellish day I had it was right on time.

I needed to zen out something serious.

Once home, relaxed and aromatherapied, I searched online just knowing I could get them cheaper, but I could not find them. Worse still, an immediate search revealed a disturbing you tube link of the fro-haired dude that was on my favorite incense:
